Prior to the time of vacating the property please be reminded that you should have the utility accounts transferred.

We recommend that the Seller(s) call the gas and electric companies to request a FINAL READING as of a certain date (usually the planned date of the key exchange). Please specify that you DO NOT want a shut off.

The Purchaser(s) should immediately call the gas and electric companies to have the services put in their name(s).

It is further suggested that the Seller(s) and Purchaser(s) exchange phone numbers for this purpose.
